I won the lottery

I won the lottery!
I'm happy to say
I can finally make all the necessary changes
To ensure a rich and fulfilling life
I can raze my house
Bulldoze my lawn
Blow-up my car
Tell my boss to go fuck himself
And establish some extramarital affairs
I think I may even do the same for my neighbors
Since it is within my means
And the right thing to do
If only I had some children to send to boarding school
And a father to put on a houseboat in the middle of hurricane season
The lottery can only do so much
There are certain things beyond the scope
Like poetry and the weather
Just as I may pray for a hurricane
I can only hope that I am done with poetry
A foul habit
Especially for someone of my new found status
Even my dog will suffer
