Short Stack of Words for Wifey (who doesn't read my poetry)

The stronger my back gets
The more I love you
Toppling over is embarrassing
Pride is carrying more than I should

Knowing that you shoulder burden
Just as well as I
Makes me want to un-jenga your load
Slipping chips and discs from stuck

Waking up to a smiling child
Changes the fabric of this adventure
Whereas it used to not matter
It all does now

Thanks for being the first
To love without understanding --
Taking the guesswork out of this project
Is, respectfully, the only way to fly
