Buying the swamp
From sun and moon

Laying pressed mud

Safely placed inside
With as much coin
As can possibly fit
Forgetting to call
Both sun and moon
And thank them
For a real good time
Becoming a slug
No need for shoes
Sliding off a chair
Slithering into dirt
Back into earthen
Seeping into tunnels
Wormcrafted wells
Back to the ocean
Now pink and green
To develop a system
That can breathe oil
Or gills with fingers
To grab the things
We hold most dear
And synthesize them
Into nutritional meals
Becoming parts of whole
