Chivalry Resting
Between two idle palms
There are bends that don't break
And those lines are magnificent
We stripe our tape
Powder our noses, underarms, cupped hands
Along the bank of some river
Women wash cloth, kids bathe
Then again on full moons
Asking for the sun to return
Before long there are hollers
About half of everything shaking
It might be low pressure rain bands
But it is unknown until it passes
