In an isolated expectation
I sneezed and broke concentration
Your butt looks good to me
Not compared, just for now

Flooded with better chemicals
Poverty alone will not break us
There are changes involved
Uncomfortable, destinies

When all the trees decide
What's best for friendship
Lawn as ivy and shade
Bed rest for complainers

Having to make peace
Painful, straining, peace
Like pennies in a glass jar
Every time the conductor announces

There are better ways to disappear
To be sawed in half gracefully
Turned into a dove
Disrobing in stages under stages

A pinch of salt and cinnamon
To rub you the right way
Some other creature, deboned
A mug of transportation to far away

As seen through candle wax
Smeared in part by curiosity
Ambivalence, rushing, boredom
Never sure where the last stop is

Some look in overhead bins
Others find solace in dirt
Even Jesus rides the wave
In the barrel, rolling, forever
