The Moon, 1845

When looking up
Believing is seeing

Feeling pulled
Toward others' breathing

Imagining us with wings
Encircling the surface

Bringing it all in for a hug
Or higher purpose

Thanks, William. This is very different from what I normally write. It came to me quite whimsically, and I wanted to keep that feeling. While it might come across as romantic (which is a fine way to read it), I was really speaking for all humanity (very big of me) as a human tackling the idea that there might actually be a life form similar to oneself just a couple of hundred thousand miles away. It happened to be the anniversary of the Great Moon Hoax of 1845. There, I've spilled the beans and said my peace...

Thanks for stopping by!
