When Things Breathe Easy

Watching the stale pace
You'd think there was a sale
On coffins
You wouldn't believe healers
Talking about the Steelers
On TV
But there's something in the air
Something like an angel's share
Of whiskey
If health were a commodity
Instead of an oddity
You'd see more flash
Speculated and traded off
In sniffle and cough
Germs abound
For a child with a red nose
It's less subjective than clothes
In brand and style
There is Gucci healthcare
There is the Goodwill health scare
Only we don't see it that way
Not when we are in a waiting room
A child's face full of gloom
Chest all junky
There are air filters, clean waters
And there are even perfect daughters
Born with perfect immunity
Much less likely in this day and age
It benefits no one but the sage
Potions are top dollar
And you can get addicted
To the lifestyle of the afflicted
Oxygen tanks, clean linens
But we all wish for the same ends
When talking to friends
Good health, clean living
