Defaced

Thank goodness for the head switchers
Those nameless troubadours of fun
That slice one head from one poster
And a head from another
And swap them
If it weren't for them
I would get so sick of looking at ads
I would vomit

With no seats left
A game begins to unfold
When one person gets up
There is a dance
Non-musical chairs
There is the humble 'excuse me'
The collect and stand
And the cautious scoot
All this is to mask
IT'S A FREE FOR ALL!
Not really
Everyone acts as polite as they can
All the while
They'd rather stick a skewer in your eye

The consensus hates graffiti
The minority loves it
Some see destruction
Others expression
But all can agree
That if it wasn't commissioned
Or approved by owners of property
It's defacing
And with so many faces
It's hard to put one on
Where one was not already

In disaster
We all come together
Destruction binds us
A common assailant
Binds us
A face on a crime
Binds us
And there we stand
Bound
United
Not untied
Defaced
Graceful
Switching heads
It's a free for all
