Like asterisks inside a ball jar
Even though the semicolon
Is standard operating procedure
Coming home
For less than one hundred hours
Seems like magic
When compared with one hundred days
Getting everything prepared
Inspected
Assembled
Mowing the lawn for the neighbor's sake
Finding some mail
Hoping to be able to pay some bills
Scurrying around
Hither tither
Some give years
A few months at a time
In the end
It reminds some of a lifetime
Or a life
