Altus Quinque

In the eyes of the lord
She said Congratulations
On behalf of her uterus
A deep recess
A conversation with her father
Thin cell walls connecting her
To her one true one
Rough in the middle and around every edge
Answering the calling for benevolent salvation
With several families
Crying
And beating their mats
Washing away anything that resembles
Sin
Except: lung cancer, white sugar, beer
Creating wires of contact
Pluses and minuses
A hollow pocket with treble bouncing
Wall to wall
Better than hall to hall
Sacred channels given
And left received
For eternity
Enter poignant Latin phrase here -
Something that captures
The same velocity
And impact
As a tearful high five
To further drive home
On two wheels
With hell on the breath
A message of peace
That smells more like pain and disappointment
But only for those
With hearts in their noses
And a photograph of shirtless Floridians
Yellowing in the corners
Those angles always closing
Until they buckle the bloodline
nemo malus felix
