My Only

My only true one
Does the laundry
Shops for groceries
And walks the dog

My only true believer
Gets ornery
If painted ladies get close to me
Out of line cog

My only fair maiden
Takes care of me
Holding me in great regard
And keeping me sharp

My only one and only
Was prepared for me
Drawing a card
While I played the harp
