Blood pressure rising
A lawyer yelling into a phone
Beyond that
There were sleepy faces
We spoke of hospice
Yoga
Different varieties of pecans
Oranges
Green markets
Florida, California, Long Island and Virginia
Way outside of normal comfort zones
We delighted in friendly conversation
Looked at photographs of yoga poses
And had a generally good time
I hope her mother's genes
Get passed along
Feeding her all she needs
To live
Well into her nineties
