You, Too, Are Glory (You, Too, Are Geoduck)

In the bright dawn lust of what isn't
All exertion is sexy and mechanical
All movements properly timed and executed
All spandex and nylon is intrinsically golden

In the flush draw runner runner of morality
We all made a bad set
Judging by the stacks and felt marks slidey slidey
We gave it up instantly and performed horribly

With all the world a bloody stage dive
Finding solace like we did is miraculous
A leaky fixture repelling mold
Boldly emblazoned with some intrinsic gift bag

And looking into the horse's gold grilly shine
We found our greedy needs beyond our appreciation
The nature walks and canoeing through stinky sulphuric mangroves
Losing charms down the cleavage of some sweaty protested meat rack

In genuine vitro vitae vitamin supply
Our hope is to prolong the suffering
Long enough to remember our festive season
When we were gods and walked among men

So long ago our dreary residue dripped dry
Belonging ourselves to the making of each other
We mortgaged calisthenics to provide a cozy cot
Our casted nest a combined household increment, judging cabaret in
slow deliberation, hunting wet closures
Pressurized
Legitimate
