Arcade Tilt

Do any of us know
What truly makes things go
You run on fuel like many machines
Love is a duel that takes up two scenes

Everything changes when money's involved
Else we go hunting until will's resolved
Comes a day that a blind man sees
Naturally falling upon bended knees

Find any reason to stop drop and roll
A simple gas stove creates a big hole
Good for a laugh if you like the macabre
Partner o' friend don't quit your day job

If anything frightens so easy as pie
Solitude makes the elderly cry
Weighs twenty pounds - quite big for a tumor
Heavy for liquid but sounds like a rumor

Take a deep breath
What comes round the bend
You may think as death
Need not a good friend

Leave death alone
Little cute end
To scythe at the throne
Nothing to mend

Enter with temperance
The dogs have good nose
Glorious inference
Kingdom forebodes

Naked nymphs all delighted
As new friends are made
You haven't been slighted
Came here to arcade

What thinks of the mix up
Happens to be
After the tricks up
This two will be three

Is following needed
Truly and wholly
Anyone's treated to
Guess roly poly

No real to realize
Body of truth
Knows not to feel eyes
Spirit uncouth

Except in this instance
When all else might fail
It pays to attention
Leaves loose in the mail

The end comes
Gates close
Peacefully quiet
Imagined perfectly

Are you singing?
Visions all ablaze in your head
Of rabbits or toads
Physicality ruling the identity

Weightless encounter
Souls drifting
Are you still singing?
Different tune now

So goes alone
Says every stacked bone
This doesn't change ever
Poem as actor as villain as lever
