All Tones Heard in Unison

The peace of your actions
Larger than the whole of me
So picturesque and not grotesque
Your pictures cozy and free
Rosier than my clever captions

And still you salvage soul
Brand me with your name and intent
Carrying in root marrying
Body clenched with legs bent
No penchant to ball up nor roll

The pitch at which stars are fused
Your folded independence lapping mine
All the world unfurled
All clingy string with knots entwine
The sling for once an arm as used

With all the pink suddenly lightless
So easy now all roads leading
Gathered in fatherly lather
The image of me gone pleading
In this dim age we settle in plightless
