Fragiled

To break your silence
I mean really break it into tiny pieces
I mean separate the shards of ignore
From the chips of discontent
To brush all the flakes of conditioning
And all the needles of time
And all the flecks of regret
And all the scaly specks of affect
Into the dustpan of changed forever
Will take a monumental impact
I am not sure I am capable of
But, to let it break on it's own
Your silence
From pressure and outside force
May be too much for me to bare
So, with as much as I can muster
I am releasing a stone of possible
A small pebble of painful truths
Not true on their own but by what we have made them
A small rock with rough edges
In hopes
That it is just enough
To do the trick
