Symphony Tribute to Cabins

I.
All the logs known to man
Once trees and placed together
Rooted to the hot center
And splayed out like a bunch of arrows
Banded together like so many stalks of asparagus
Left behind for concrete, and lots of it

II.
Who would have thought to lay gravel
Fashion your own tool handles
Use geometry and a good eye...
What's the stove made out of?

III.
Let's join hands
Like bandanas
Only hands
Let's crawl out of this castle
Let's cascade like tissue paper
Click like cicadas
Rub legs and hairs
Wait - only hands
Let's cut off branches
And let the trunks go light and dry
Then let's smoke pipes
Stove pipes or tobacco
This too is a pipe
This too is a pipe
