About wedding days and whatever it needs to be
To make a story warm
We mostly live like this
Talking about divorce and how smart doctors are
And how they can't turn on the stove
And taking care of adult boys
And sometimes marrying them
Carrying them into narrow basements
To fix furnaces and move sofas
Later that day we'll drink more coffee
And braid friendship leashes
