snail mail lady

Snail mail lady
Forgot the name for: Post Office
Went walking around like a headless horseman
Without a horse
And going to see a man about a horse
She wore a pad
And found herself
Wet with excitement
Although no time to change
She decided it was the only thing
She could count
Without her fingers
Deep in dough
Stamping a crust
Or poking a pointer
through a pie hole
That wasn't hers
Solemnly stating
That in addition
There is also subtraction
From some pile
Some braided connection of cable
Some stringy liquid mess
Some scarf of paper
Some shower of strands
Connecting her personage
By way of forgotten snap
Or zip
Or extension of self address
Wrapping her head around her head
