Just walking slumped over
Some even caved in
Or even standing straight

Why does this happen
And I tell you
What you can't hear
What oath I took
Upon becoming a man
A silent oath unknown
To all man really
But an oath nonetheless
In the desperate cavern
That one stretched out
Over eons of forever
The only measuring stick
Used correctly in whole
That long narrow hallway
That Morrison spoke of
That canal of Venus
Ancient vagina of canus
Absorbing all things masterfully
Extracting the very essence
What have you then
An embrace that creates
A divided multiplication table
Cleaved intentionally in gift
You have something soft
No matter the environment
The outside world then
Was always then now
Momentous collision dictates now
Whereas you also have
On the river bank
Not two lover only
But another crafty designer
This one shoots things
Not just a few
Millions into the ether
And just like that
They are dismissed irrevocably
From the hoary coat
Of some December chill
Sprawled like a picnic
Whatever the occurrence means
This event has purpose
But suitcases packed differently
End in some hotel
Opened up in private
Not my precious belongings
Some disarrayed maniacal cluster
So we pack those
And put them back
Wherever we found them
Because it pains us
To see what is
Not for us now
But was for us
Some eternity gone by
When we could talk
And things made sense
And so you ask me
Again and even again
Why man do that
I say what man
This man standing here
Or every man walking
Because I am here
Standing here as always
Telling you what is

Existing outside the body
Internalized inside the body
One thing extends out
The other beckons entrance
One shoots and forgets
The other absorbs deeply
Then creates something unbelievable
