Cycles, Steps, Straightened

You can chop up a bike

And swallow it in pieces

It's still a bike; unrideable

And, probably hard to put back together

Staircases rise and fall

But they require feet

To take in strides; absorbing

Or else it's just teeth

When you flatten it out

You can see the entire landscape

Past where curves hide

Secret doors swing open; event

Then swept clean
